You want to start your job search in medical sales, but where should you start? Which employers should you target? Where are the best medical sales jobs? MedReps, a job board for medical sales representatives, asked more than 1,400 of its members to find out in its 5th Annual Best Places to Work in Medical Sales survey.
The infographic they have compiled reveals their responses and shows the qualities medical sales reps love most in employers. Here are the survey results at a glance:

What Medical Sales Reps Want
Medical sales reps want to sell products that make a difference. Among those surveyed, 63 percent said they prefer to sell devices or equipment, and 52 percent said a strong product line is the most important factor when evaluating medical sales companies.
When asked about culture and career growth, 66 percent said competitive compensation was the most important. Work-life balance was close behind, as 62 percent rated it as an important value.
Are medical sales reps happy?
Overall, medical sales reps love their jobs and their employers. A total of 42 percent of respondents voted for their current employer as the best place to work.
Although 72 percent of medical sales reps are somewhat or very satisfied with their jobs, 47 percent will likely leave their job in the next year.
