If you are looking for a news sales position, do not forget your brag book. A brag book is a collection of the awards you’ve earned, outstanding reviews, letters of recommendation and possibly a list of references. Keep track of all of your sales results and rankings per quarter, even if your company doesn’t officially provide them. Make copies of any recognition you receive from upper management, or good feedback from clients/customers, patients, or co-workers. Track any time you’re asked to speak at an annual meeting, or be a member of any committee, training program or pilot.
